The Government of Ukraine requested USTDA support to develop a Feasibility Study for the National Emergency Telephone Call Response System in conjunction with the Government’s plans to implement the system in time for the country’s hosting of the Euro 2012 soccer tournament. Ascendant was contracted by the USTDA to provide expert advice during contractor selection and review of deliverables relative to the Feasibility Study.
After preparing evaluation procedures, scoring sheets and documentation formats, Ascendant technical experts supported the USTDA evaluation team in documenting strengths and weaknesses and otherwise scoring all proposals. Contractor selection and contract award for the feasibility study took place in less than 30 days.
Throughout the implementation of the Feasibility Study, Ascendant staff reviewed all deliverables and provided expert analysis of the quality of the work in relation to industry standards and ensure the work being performed mets the needs of Ukraine and the USTDA.
North Branch Holdings (NBH) aims to develop a 590 MW combined-cycle gas-fired thermal power plant in San Luis Rio Colorado in the State of Sonora in Mexico. The plant will generate clean and cost-efficient energy for export to the U.S. and transmission in Mexico.
In addition to the power plant, NBH's transmission structure allows for control by North Branch of power flows between U.S. and Mexico.
Ascendant supported the technical review of project documentation presented to various equity and debt investors in the US.
